About Us
Associated Orthopedics and Sports Medicine (AOSM) is a full-service orthopedics and sports medicine practice with offices located in the heart of Plano and Frisco. AOSM provides its patients with a complete Circle of Care program from the initial point of diagnosis, and continuing through patient education, treatment, recovery and rehabilitation.
At AOSM, patients have access to the latest advances in orthopedics, sports medicine and spine care, including minimally invasive techniques that help speed patient recovery. The practice specializes in the treatment of injuries to the shoulder, knee, hand and wrist, neck and back, foot and ankle, as well as arthroscopic procedures, joint replacements, and fracture care.
The facility is equipped with an open MRI, digital X-ray machine, a fully accredited ambulatory surgery center and both physical and occupational therapy. All of AOSM’s services are conveniently located within AOSM’s two-story building on Plano Parkway. In addition, AOSM’s Frisco office, located on the Baylor Medical Center of Frisco campus, provides on site physical therapy.
AOSM is led by four fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopedic surgeons: Alex Glogau, M.D., Michael Schwartz, M.D., Adam Kouyoumjian, D.O., and Victoria Knoll, M.D., as well as a physiatrist, Gregory Powell, M.D.
Together with their team of physician assistants, nurse practitioners, physical and occupational therapists, and nurses, AOSM is leading the way in orthopedics, sports medicine and spine care.
