Elbow

Tennis elbow is a common condition that occurs when the tendons that attach the extensor muscles in the arm to the “elbow” bone become inflamed and irritated. Tennis elbow is often associated with the sport of tennis, but it is common across all racket sports and can also occur with other activities such as gardening, golf, and even age. Tennis elbow can cause pain on the outer side of the elbow and down the forearm. Other symptoms include redness, swelling, and pain when gripping objects, turning your hand or swinging your arm. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, you should speak with an orthopedic physician who can determine the best course of medical treatment.
