Dr. Adam Kouyoumjian

Dr. Adam Kouyoumjian is a board certified and fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine, and arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder, knee, hip, elbow and ankle. He also performs minimally invasive total joint replacement surgery.
Dr. Kouyoumjian received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Rochester in New York. He earned his medical degree with honors from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his orthopedic surgical residency in June 2000 in New York at North Shore University Hospital, graduating with the distinction of chief resident.
Dr. Kouyoumjian is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the Arthroscopy Association of North America. He is also a member of the Texas Society of Sports Medicine, the Collin County Medical Society, and has been published in the American Journal of Orthopedics.
Dr. Kouyoumjian participates as a clinical instructor for advanced arthroscopic surgery for the Arthroscopy Association of North America. He also writes the board questions for the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons as an official examiner for the Orthopedic Board Certification Exam. In addition, Dr. Kouyoumjian volunteers his time as the varsity football team physician for Liberty Frisco High School and Prosper High School.
