Dr. Adam Kouyoumjian

Dr. Adam Kouyoumjian is a board certified and fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine, and arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder, knee, hip, elbow and ankle. He also performs minimally invasive total joint replacement surgery.

Dr. Kouyoumjian received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Rochester in New York, and earned his medial degree with honors from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his orthopedic surgical residency in June 2000 in New York, graduating with the distinction of chief resident.

Dr. Kouyoumjian is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the Arthroscopy Association of North America. He is also a member of the Texas Society of Sports Medicine and has been published in the American Journal of Orthopedics. In addition, Dr. Kouyoumjian volunteers his time as the varsity football team physician for the Episcopal School of Dallas.
