Dr. Alex Glogau

Dr. Alexander Glogau is the senior partner and fellowship director at Associated Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. He is a board certified and fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine and the arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the knee and shoulder.

Dr. Glogau completed his surgical residency at Maimonides Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York, where he also served as Chief Resident in the final year of the program.

Dr. Glogau is a graduate of Downstate Medical Center/State University of New York, Brooklyn, New York, and holds additional degrees from John Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland, and City University, New York, New York.

In addition, he has chaired the department of Orthopedics at Presbyterian Hospital of Plano as well as Medical Center of Plano. He presently serves as an Associate Clinical Instructor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center’s Physician Assistant Program.

Dr. Glogau is a supporter of many charities, including the Susan G. Komen Foundation and volunteers as the team physician for Plano Senior High’s football program.
